Carrier liability & insurance
Every consignment travels under our standard carrier's liability cover. It compensates for loss or damage caused by our handling up to defined limits — the fine print lives in our quote paperwork, and we'll send the schedule on request.
- Standard cover — included on every job, suited to most commercial freight.
- Full transit cover — arranged per job for high-value or fragile freight; we'll tell you when we think you need it.
- Claims window — report damage within 48 hours of delivery; we acknowledge claims within two business days.
Warehouse stock sits under warehouseman's liability — the building's insured, and goods are covered per the agreed schedule.
GDPR — if you're in the EU or UK
We're an Australian company and we don't target EU or UK customers — but if you're dealing with us from there (a supplier, a receiver, a partner), the General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights we honour anyway:
- Access, correct or erase your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability — get your records in a usable format
- Withdraw consent where consent was the basis
The lawful basis for processing is contractual necessity — we need your details to move your freight — plus legitimate interest for operational records. The full detail of what we collect sits in our privacy policy, which applies GDPR-grade rights to everyone who asks, regardless of postcode.
Requests go to betzilogistics@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days as the regulation requires — usually much sooner.
Website use & content
The content on betzilogistics.site describes our real services and rates, but every job is governed by its written quote and our terms of service — the site is information, not a contract.

Governing law & disputes
Our services are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If something goes wrong we'd rather fix it over the phone than in a courtroom — but where a dispute can't be resolved directly, the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
For freight claims specifically, the process and timeframes are set out in our terms of service and on each quote.
