Real racking, real people, accurate to the carton

We took the Hamilton warehouse in 2019 because clients kept asking where their freight sat between jobs. It runs as a proper 3PL corner of the business: racked locations, scanned in and out, stock counts you can actually trust.

Use it for a week between wharf and delivery, or as your permanent Queensland footprint. About forty businesses keep stock with us — food importers, shopfitters, e-commerce brands, a bloke who imports vintage scooters.

  • Racked and floor locations, pallet or carton level
  • 20ft/40ft container unpacks at our dock
  • Pick-pack and dispatch through our own metro fleet

Stock counts are reconciled weekly and the report is yours any time you ask. If the number's ever wrong, we fix it and tell you — not the other way around.

What warehousing costs

Storage by the pallet week, handling by the movement. You pay for what's actually there — there's no "facility fee" hiding underneath.

What you bookIncludesPrice
Pallet storageRacked location, standard pallet$14per pallet / week
Floor / oversize spaceCrated, machinery, awkward freight$10per m² / week
Pick-pack ordersOrder pick, pack, book & dispatch$2.80per order + $0.60/item
Container unpack40ft on our dock, sorted to pallets$580per container

In/out handling and shrink-wrap billed per movement and agreed before the stock arrives. Long-term clients get the pallet-week rate reviewed quarterly.

[03 // Process]

How warehousing jobs run

From inbound container to a stored, counted location.

8 min from
the wharf
Step 01

Book the inbound

Tell us what's arriving — container, truckload or a ute full of cartons — and when it lands.

Step 02

We receive & count

Every carton or pallet gets counted against your packing list on arrival. Discrepancies get flagged same day, with photos.

Step 03

Into location

Stock goes to a racked or floor location under your account. You get the receipt confirmation in writing.

Step 04

Stock reports

Weekly reconciliation and an on-hand report whenever you ask — by SKU, pallet or carton, however you count.

Step 05

Out on request

Email what goes where; our own metro or interstate fleet carries it. Pick-pack orders dispatch same or next day.

Need something next to it?

Most warehousing jobs touch one of these.

[05 // On the job]

Inside the Hamilton shed

Racking, dock doors and the paperwork corner. It smells like cardboard and forklift gas, as it should.

[06 // The crew]

The warehouse crew

Priya runs the shed and treats other people's stock like it owes her money — nothing leaves location without a scan. Sam leads the forklift work and personally tests every new racking bay.

Same crew unloads your container, counts it, and later picks your orders. One chain of custody, no warehouse roulette.

Unpacks every container himself. Rates pallets on a scale he'll explain.

Storage vs moving it straight through

If the freight's only pausing for a day or two, cross-dock inside a distribution job is usually cheaper than formal storage.

Store it if it's staying a while, cross-dock it if it's only passing through — that's the honest rule of thumb.

[08 // Questions]

Warehousing questions

The ones dispatch hears weekly. Anything else — call +61 7 3154 8823.

No — a week is fine, a year is fine. Billing runs Monday to Sunday and you only pay for locations actually occupied.

Yes, during depot hours with a heads-up so we can have someone on the forklift ready. Full self-access isn't offered — it's a working warehouse, not a storage unit.

The building's covered; your goods sit under our warehouseman's liability. High-value stock should keep its own policy — we'll tell you plainly what's sensible. Terms on the legal page.

Ambient only — dry goods, packaging, materials. If you need cold chain we'll point you at the right people rather than wing it.

Through our own metro and interstate services — so stock goes from racking to your customer without leaving our custody. That's the actual advantage of storing with a carrier.
